In case you missed my announcement about the Tara Faughnan Traverse Quilt Block of the Month program, let me share the details.
Traverse In Color:
Traverse in Neutral:
The Traverse quilt pattern by Tara Faughnan is simply gorgeous. It is available in two colorways - Traverse In Color or Traverse In Neutral. This BOM is a take on traditional row by row quilts, but with a decidedly modern look and a brilliant display of colors!! The eye catching palettes from Tara live between harmony and discord, but always with a sweet, pleasing feel.
The quilt has a multitude of different techniques that will be explored each month. The pattern is full of tips and tricks, so even if the technique is new to you, it will be fun and achievable to sew. Each month will include the block pattern, cutting and piecing instructions, and all the tips and tricks necessary to make it all come together beautifully. There will also be video tutorials available to help you every month. The quilt is made up of 10 different blocks and sashing strips, both pieced into rows. The techniques range from simple piecing to strip piecing, curves and a new paper piecing technique!
The quilt size is 72 x 85. We are using Artisan Cotton aka shot cottons by Another Point of View from Windham Fabrics. The colors are simply STUNNING!!! The completed quilt top and binding will use 14 1/4 yards of fabric. Backing not included.
The BOM starts in July and will run for 12 months. To reserve your spot in the BOM, pay $45.00 now and then 12 monthly payments of $20.00 (July 2022-June 2023). The total cost of the quilt BOM is $285.00, plus shipping if applicable. If you complete your quilt on time, you will receive a $25 store credit to use towards backing fabric for your quilt.
The last day to sign up is Feb. 15, 2022. This is going to be such a fun quilt to make!
