It's time to kick off the 2022 Aurifil Color Builders thread club.
We are so excited about Flora, the 2022 Color Builder Program and can't wait to shine light on variegated threads all year long. The thread packs will be available for pick up on the 15th of each month. We will also email the monthly pattern if you are going to make the monthly blocks.
As a reminder, Aurifil has donated to Rainforest Trust, an organization dedicated to the long-term protection of these forests. Rainforest Trust purchases and protects the most threatened tropical forests, saving endangered wildlife through partnerships and community engagement. Every action we take now to protect rainforest will have a lasting impact on the future by maintaining our planet’s critical ecosystems.
Today, we're kicking everything off with Frangipani!

Fun Facts:
- Frangipani has been used as an anti-inflammatory.
- It grows as a shrub or tree.
- It is also known as the Hawaiian Lei flower.
Flora BOM
The pattern for 2022 was designed & developed by Aurifil’s own Kate Brennan in partner with graphic designer Christina Weisbard. The block finishes at 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" as a separate mini or can be pieced together with the remaining blocks for this year to create a full quilt. The block patterns are exclusive to our color builder subscribers and will remain so for the duration of 2022.
