Bucket Hat Class
Join the bucket hat brigade!
Learn to make your own bucket hat using the free pattern from Orange Bettie. We will provide the printed pattern. You will make a basic reversible hat and I will show you some variations I have made that you might want to incorporate into this hat or the next one you make!
Required supplies:
Hat Supplies:
1/2 yd main fabric
1/2 yd lining fabric
1/2 yd interfacing. (Note: I have used Pellon SF101, Pellon 931TD and/or Soft & Stable as interfacing in my hats. You might want to wait until the day of the class and buy the interfacing then after you see my hats in person to see which you prefer.)
Thread to match for piecing and topstitching
Sewing Supplies:
Sewing machine in good working order with power cord, feet, needles, etc
Rotary cutter and mat
Scissors
Pins and/or Wonder Clips or imitation wonder clips
Whatever sewing supplies make you happy
