Not Your Basic Blue Bag!
Don’t you love it when you start the day with a project in mind and you end it with a finish?!?! The Not Your Basic Blue Bag is the perfect bag to start your adventure in bag making. With a few basic sewing skills and a day you can create a tote bag that’s cute AND useful. Come to class with a prequilted “bag sandwich” (easy to follow directions in your pattern) and Kelly will guide you through all the steps to complete your bag. 3 sizes are available inside the pattern and you can choose any of the three for your project. Once you make one we’re sure you’ll want to make more. It’s that fun and that easy!
Your supply basics are listed here so you can do the necessary prep work:
YOU WILL NEED:- Not Your Basic Blue Bag pattern - available at The Fabric Chic
- A Sewing Machine in Good Working order... don't forget your power cord & foot pedal!
- At least one heavy duty needle for your machine (denim weight) - for sewing thru multiple thicknesses of pieces during final assembly.
- Thread for Top Stitching or hand sewing the binding.
- Basic sewing supplies - scissors, snips, rotary cutter, etc.
***MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS CLASS IS 16 YRS.
