Spellbound Witches Hat
Come and join us for a bewitching class to construct the Spellbound Quilted Witch Hat!
The finished hat is approximately 16” tall and 20” wide – with an inner circumference of 22-23” inches. The pattern does include instructions on how to adjust the fit to a smaller size. Be sure to bring along any embellishments to personalize your Witch hat!
The construction of the hat should not take the entire day – so be sure to bring another project to work on and spend the rest of the day (until 4:00 pm) in The Sewing Lounge!
Homework:
Please have your fabrics quilted and the templates for the pattern printed and taped together. Make certain that the pattern prints to the correct size by measuring the test squares. Ideally, you should be ready for Section three when you arrive for class.
Supplies:
The Spellbound Witches Hat Pattern, pattern must be brought to class. Each person must have their own pattern. No photocopies allowed.
Matching Thread
Basic sewing supplies: matching thread, clips, pins, scissors, seam ripper
Sewing machine needle – suggest 90/14 or denim needle
Walking foot
Glue or glue pen for attaching the binding
Any embellishments you want to add - Ribbon, patches, labels
