The Chicken Case!
By popular request, we are making the chicken case!! They are so FUN! Clever 11” and 13” bird cases are beautifully finished and fully lined with a back zipper opening. Constructed with fusible foam and weighted feet for body and stability, they can hold mini irons, sewing tools, children’s collections or whichever treasures you like. Homework:
Please have all pieces cut out and quilted according to the pattern and size of chicken case you are making.
Supplies Needed:
- Sewing Machine in good working condition. Don't forget to bring your power cord and foot pedal.
- A new sewing machine needle.
- Pattern - each student must have their own pattern.
- Fabric for the size of chicken you are making (see below).
- Soft and Stable for the size of checken you are making (see below).
- 10" or longer zipper
- Buttons for the eyes and wings (see information below)
