Berry Jam Improv Quilt Class with Tia Curtis
Are you new to improv piecing, or have you been wanting to try to loosen up your quilt design? Join Tia Curtis for a fun-filled three-hour class where you will play with color and improv techniques to create your version of the Berry Jam Quilt. This quilt is the perfect project to stretch your improv skills, but still have a plan. The Berry Jam Quilt comes together quickly with a series of shortcuts that you can use in future quilts. You will leave class with a good start to your quilt and an imagination filled with possibilities.? The class is 3 hours long; however, you can stay and continue to work on your quilt until 4:00...bonus!!
Supply List
- Berry Jam Quilt Pattern (available at Fabric Chic). Each student must have their own pattern.
- Sewing Machine in good working order (foot pedal, power cord, knee lift)
- 1/4" seam foot if you have one
- 16 fat quarters (choose solids or prints.)
- 2 3/4 yards of Background fabric
- Thread for sewing machine.
- Rotary Cutter
- Small scissors
- Cutting Mat
- 6" x 24" quilting ruler
Need a miniumum of 5 students to have this class.
