Double Rings QCR Pillow Class
Is there anything more iconic than the double wedding ring quilt?
If you’ve always loved the look but have been nervous about the small pieces and curves this is the class to set your mind at ease and get you on your way to making this amazing pattern. We’ll make enough blocks to let you get the hang of the piecing and the curves and from there you can decide whether you want to journey on to a whole quilt top or finish off your blocks into two 20” pillows.
We love the idea of trying a new to you technique and ending up with a beautiful completed project even if you choose not to make a whole quilt, don’t you? Kits are available in the store.
Supplies Needed:
- 10- 5” strips of various colors for the “rings”
- 4- fat quarters for the background pieces The Quick Curve Ruler (original size) 10” Square Up Ruler Sewing Machine in good working order 1/4” foot for your machine Rotary Cutter with a fresh blade 24”x48” piece of batting
- 3/4 yard of backing fabric (per pillow)
- 1/4 yard of blinding fabric (per pillow) 24” zipper (per pillow) if you want a zip opening 20” pillow insert
***A minimum of 5 students is required to hold the class.***
***Minimum age to take the class is 16 years old.***

A creative life is a happy life and she strives to create happiness through her creative practice every day. Kelly regularly shares her work on Instagram under the username @itsjustsew She has written and published the pattern, Not Your Basic Blue Bag, and regularly teaches classes on a myriad of quilting subjects.
