ByAnnie Bag Construction Basics!

The focus of this day is teaching the basic construction techniques used in ByAnnie Bag Patterns.  You can bring any ByAnnie Bag Pattern to work on.  You will receive assistance in the most common pattern techniques: installing zippers, installing zipper pulls, working with mesh and vinyl, binding edges, attaching straps, etc. 

There will be demonstrations of the basic techniques, then you have the remaining time to work on your project, receive assistance and ask questions. 

This is an advanced beginner class in bag construction.  You must know how to sew and use your sewing machine proficiently.  


-Sewing machine in good working condition and you are confident that can go through multiple layers. Don't forget your power cord and foot pedal.
-Brand new needle.  We suggest at 90/14 or 100/16.
-Basic sewing supplies - scissors, snips, seam ripper, binding clips, marking pencils/pens, etc.
-Matching thread.
-Fabric pieces cut out and quilted if necessary for your pattern.
-Your ByAnnie bag pattern and any special pattern requirements - zippers, vinyl, mesh, bag hardware, etc.

A minimum of 5 students is needed to have this class.
