Join Aimee Hagedorn from A.H. Goods for an intimate embroidery workshop where you will learn how to create a one-of-a-kind hand stitched brooch. This two hour class will cover basic embroidery stitches, followed by instruction on ways to combine stitches with whimsical bits and bobs to personalize your brooch just to your liking. (Did we mention the brooch will be in the shape of a heart?! Wonderful!)

 

While having some sewing and/or embroidery experience is helpful, it is not required for this workshop.  All supplies will be provided for you, including the pieces you will need to finish your brooch at home just in case you run out of time. Otherwise, your hoop and fabric are your blank canvas for this inspired project.

-Appreciation for texture, fibers, and all things embroidery
-Your favorite morning beverage

Aimee will bring:
-For community use: Embroidery hoops, needles, floss, threaders, scissors, bits and bobs
-Individual kits: Pre-cut felt shapes, pin back, variety of patterned fabric squares 
-Instruction, good company, and endless encouragement
