Are you looking for the perfect little gift for the holidays? Wonky Stars are fun and so EASY to piece for mug rugs or pin cushions. In the morning, you'll learn the tips and tricks to make them both and then use the afternoon to make many, many more!

Supplies Needed:
1/2 yard of scraps, fat eights, or 12" squares; include contrasting fabric for the stars

For the mug rug:
Two - 12" squares of batting

For pin cushion:
Two - 5" squares of batting
Pointed stick or tool for turning out corners

General sewing supplies:
Sewing machine in good working condition, walking foot, don't forget your power cord and pedal
Hand sewing needle for sewing pin cushions closed
Matching and coordinating thread

Pin cushion filling will be supplied.  We used crushed walnuts.
