Vino Collage Quilt Class
Let’s Toast to Spring this fun full day Laura Heine Wine Glass (or Bubbly!) Collage.
You will learn the basics of Laura’s method of Collage, the Tools for Success, and how to recognize details in fabric that make it work for Collage, plus some great tips and tricks!
The Vino collage measures roughly measures 13.5" x 24.5".
In addition to working on the Wine Glass, Merrie will have several other Collages on hand & we will discuss the role of Color and Value, how to Create Movement in your piece, and how to know when you’re finished.
SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:Vino Collage Pattern - each student must have their own pattern. No photocopies or sharing allowed.

Applique Pressing Sheet
4 yards or more of the 12" Steam A Seam 2
Karen K Buckley Medium Perfect Scissors
1/2 yard of Pattern Ease Foundation
#2 Pencil or SewLine Trio Marking Pencial
Small Cutting Mat and ruler 3" x 12" recommended
Rotary Cutter
Optional - a small travel iron and ironing mat
A minimum of 5 students are required for this class.

She did not expect to love it as much as she does- discovering a whole new opportunity for playing with Color & Fabric! Merrie got her Collage Certification from Laura Heine in early 2019 and has gone on to take Collage classes from several other teachers - learning a variety of techniques & product options. |
