The CLAM UP Pattern by Annie

We recommend making the large (or extra large)  size in class.  The smaller ones are easier after you learn the process.

Supplies as listed on the pattern for the size you plan to make.

Purse zippers are strongly recommended for this project.  Clam Ups can be made with a double or single slide zipper, however construction is easier with a double slide zipper, so a double slide is recommended for your first project.

For the large size, you will need the following:

Main fabric - fat quarter
Lining fabric - fat quarter
Coordinating fabric for the tabs, gussets and bindings -   fat eighth
Soft and Stable foam interfacing 17" x 12"
Handbag zipper - 20" or longer

PLEASE refer to the back of the pattern for complete fabric requirements and supply list.
