These sleek zippered organizers feature an outer quilted pocket plus inner pockets made from mesh and vinyl for easy visibility of contents.
Each pocket has a zipper closure — no need to worry about things falling out!
In addition to holding a multitude of treasures, the outer pocket on the Small Case is sized to hold an iPad mini. The Large Case will hold an iPad Pro.
The cases are also perfect for storing and carrying rotary cutters, small rulers, and other basic notions!

This class is a great introduction to three methods for installing zippers on ByAnnie patterns - installing a zipper on a quilted pocket, a vinyl pocket and a mesh pocket. Participants will learn about rounding corners and installing an outer zip.

Small: 8½"W x 10"H x 1"D when closed and rotates to measure 17"W x 10"H when open

Large: 11½"H x 14"W x 1"D when closed and rotates to measure 23"W x 14"H when open 

Note - the pattern assumes that the finished bag will be oriented in a “portrait” position, like a book, with a directional pattern running from bottom to top.  If you are using a pattern that you want to be oriented the other way (like our shop samples made from Tula Pink’s Curiouser fabrics, you will need to purchase 1.25 yards of fabric for the outside, and cut an 18” strip lengthwise (for the large size)  We have done that for you in the kits available in the shop.

For the small size, 7/8 of a yard cut lengthwise into a 12” strip will allow the print to be oriented in a “landscape” position.

A minimum of four participants is required for this class.

Easily removed marking tools (i.e. Hera marker or a marker that removes with water)
